Unethical Pro-Organizational Behavior (UPB) has been a HAWT topic over the last decade and continues to be very relevant today (perhaps even more so). Wait, you've never heard of UPB?? Oh come on, it's the new trend! You know, the one where your place or work treats you very poorly and makes you feel pretty darn bad about yourself in an effort to advance the organization or for your supervisors/leaders self interest?!

Let's keep it real and gauge how you're doing with this feeling chart! Enjoy ;)

Survey data from a team of 28 RBT's identified Burnout Prevention/Self-Care as the single most requested professional growth topic, with multiple RBT's specifically naming burnout and professional boundaries as gaps in their early training. This PDU responds directly to that need using Acceptance and Commitment Training(ACT) grounded in Relational Frame Theory(RFT) rather than generic "self-care tips."

As behavior analysts, we’re called to do more than teach skills—we’re called to shape environments. But what happens when those environments are inherently biased against the very clients we serve? Recent research, including the development of the Neurodiversity Attitudes Questionnaire (NDAQ), reveals a critical gap: many professionals, even those in helping fields, unknowingly hold attitudes that impact neurodivergent individuals’ inclusion and dignity. This course explores how we, as BCBAs, can assess and shift these mindsets to create spaces where neurodivergent clients aren’t just accommodated—they're respected.
